Sea Green Casket Water Dragon

These fierce sea green casket water dragons have a hidden compartment inside their bodies to keep precious objects safe. They are constructed from large extruded hollow coils of stoneware clay with a overlaid “dragon skin” of textured clay.

My sea green casket water dragons are glazed in a glossy moss green glaze which pools and breaks to emphasise the textural patterns. Additional details such as gold or silver highlights and the immortal pearl of wisdom in the dragon’s mouth are glazed with metallic lustres.
